Engineering Manager - Hybrid

About the role

The Engineering Manager leads the engineering side of a product team, reporting to the Product General Manager. You will be responsible for the performance, growth and day‑to‑day execution of engineers, ensuring work moves from ready to build through to shipped and stable.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage sprint capacity, break work into milestones with estimates, and track delivery progress.
• Run 1:1s, progress development plans, set goals, give feedback and handle performance issues.
• Remove blockers, act as primary escalation path, and communicate delivery status to stakeholders.
• Contribute code regularly to stay sharp and maintain credibility with the team.

Required profile

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product environment.
• Strong people‑management skills, able to coach and develop engineers.
• Ability to work closely with Product Design Manager and Tech Lead to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in software development and delivery processes.
• Understanding of sprint planning, capacity management and engineering quality standards.
