End User Engineer

About the role

APD Global is looking for a proactive, customer‑focused End User Engineer to join its Internal IT team in Melbourne. You will provide hands‑on technical support to employees and engineering teams while helping maintain a secure, reliable workplace technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1/2 onsite and remote support for Windows devices, peripherals, meeting‑room systems, mobile devices and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and troubleshoot corporate and engineering applications.
• Deploy, configure and maintain laptops and workstations using Intune, Windows Autopilot and standardized patching processes.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, identity and access requests, MFA troubleshooting, device compliance and application provisioning.
• Assist the infrastructure team with Melbourne office networking, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, server‑room equipment and connectivity troubleshooting, escalating when required.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team and vendors to resolve escalated issues, maintain tickets, asset records and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Practical experience providing Level 1/2 end‑user IT support across Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to own incidents through to resolution.
• Understanding of endpoint deployment, Windows Autopilot, software installation, patching and security/compliance practices.
• Ability to work autonomously onsite while collaborating with a geographically distributed IT team.
