Emergency Medicine Registrar – Regional Queensland

About the role

Join a busy Emergency Department in a major regional hospital offering a Level 4 clinical service. The department sees over 81,000 presentations each year and provides comprehensive care to adult and paediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload including trauma, medical emergencies, paediatric and mental health presentations.
• Provide care in state‑of‑the‑art resuscitation bays and high‑dependency units.
• Participate in clinical audits, research initiatives and continuous professional development.
• Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff and other registrars to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Motivated candidates with a strong interest in emergency medicine; prior experience is desirable.
• Willingness to work flexible rostered hours, including nights and weekends.
