Electrical Site Manager – Substations

About the role

CPP is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the delivery of high‑voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects across NSW. You will manage on‑site construction activities for substation upgrades, data‑centre connections and critical network infrastructure, working locally or regionally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery from mobilisation to commissioning.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site teams and day‑to‑day operations, including outage planning, permits and work packages.
• Drive project outcomes against schedule, budget and quality expectations while supporting Project Managers with planning and cost control.
• Build and lead high‑performing site teams through coaching, mentoring and development.

Required profile

• Electrical trade qualification (essential).
• Proven experience managing high‑voltage construction projects, preferably in substation, utilities or renewable infrastructure.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
