Dump Truck Operator

About the role

MACA is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join the crew at the Duketon Gold Project in Western Australia. You will operate heavy‑duty dump trucks in an open‑pit mining environment, ensuring safe and efficient movement of material to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Komatsu 785 dump trucks to load, transport, and dump ore and waste material.
• Follow daily production plans and safety procedures while maintaining equipment performance.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections, report any faults, and assist with routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with mine supervisors and other crew members to keep the site running smoothly.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating dump trucks in a production mining open‑pit setting.
• Current Western Australia driver’s licence.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and demonstrate a “can‑do” safety attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency operating a Komatsu 785 dump truck.
