Domestic Assistant – Casual Home Support

About the role

We are seeking a Casual Domestic Assistant to provide essential home support for clients in the Stonington Council area. Working flexible weekdays, you will help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that enables older Australians to live independently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry.
• Assist with basic meal preparation and kitchen clean‑up.
• Provide companionship and observe client wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Follow a set task list for each client and adhere to care guidelines.

Required profile

• Genuine caring attitude and reliability.
• Current driver’s licence and a registered vehicle for travel between client homes.
• Ability to follow task lists and perform home‑care duties safely.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR certificates and a police check.
