Dispensary Pharmacist (Grade 2) – Part‑time Fixed‑term

About the role

Western Health is seeking a part‑time Grade 2 Dispensary Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team on a fixed‑term basis until 28 February 2027. The role supports dispensing services for in‑patients, out‑patients and Hospital‑in‑the‑Home (HITH) patients across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate dispensing services to in‑patients, out‑patients and HITH patients.
• Assist the Dispensary Manager with coordination of dispensing activities, patient education and operational management.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives that improve pharmacy services.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff as required.

Required profile

• Completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of pharmacy practice and related legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to customer‑focused service and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team‑oriented mindset and experience supervising staff.
