Dispatcher – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Dispatcher will support daily operations of the logistics department, acting as the main liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and drivers. This role ensures smooth export and import processes, accurate freight handling, and compliance with clinical trial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create shipping labels, SLI, and export packs for drivers.
• Oversee daily import deliveries and driver scheduling.
• Scan and account for freight, providing coverage for dispatch staff as needed.
• Perform physical freight counts and reconcile with system data.
• Track and trace shipments, manage airline bookings and other arrangements.
• Coordinate with sub‑contractors, vendors, and internal departments on all business facets.
• Ensure company vans are serviced regularly and maintain safe operating condition.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the life‑science or clinical‑trial logistics sector.
• Experience with import and export processes.
• Knowledge of Sydney and surrounding areas and fleet operations.
• Understanding of time‑and‑temperature requirements for clinical trials.
• Year 12 education completion.
