Dispatch Coordinator – Warehouse & Transport

About the role

Join UPS’s Sydney team as a full‑time Dispatch Coordinator. You will manage outbound orders, prepare freight for transport and create daily driver schedules, ensuring smooth operations across air, road and sea shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Scan and dispatch freight, stack and wrap pallets, and perform other warehouse duties as needed.
• Create air and road consignment notes using both computer and manual systems.
• Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and occasionally complete deliveries.
• Collaborate with management to adjust daily routes based on customer requirements and road hazards.
• Prepare daily work schedules and communicate hazards to drivers.
• Monitor driver logs for errors, violations, working hours and equipment availability.
• Process export and import shipments.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of warehousing experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer service experience.
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Certificate I‑II in Warehousing & Distribution or relevant 3PL experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
