Director – Tax Advisory (Mid‑Market & Private)

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Director for its Tax Advisory team within the Mid‑Market & Private practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients—including large private and listed businesses, high‑net‑worth families, start‑ups and multinational subsidiaries—to help them navigate complex tax landscapes and achieve sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex domestic and international tax matters, including structuring, cross‑border transactions and tax authority reviews, audits and disputes.
• Provide tax advice on asset acquisitions, divestments, due diligence, financing arrangements and IPO structuring, readiness and prospectus preparation.
• Lead full‑cycle client engagements, maintain regular client contact and present findings to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to distil and convey complex tax concepts in written and verbal form.
• Client‑centric mindset and the ability to understand diverse business models.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality, client‑ready deliverables and present to senior stakeholders.
