Director of Partnerships – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

Studyportals is looking for a senior leader to drive university partnerships across Australia and New Zealand. You will act as the primary liaison between millions of prospective students and higher‑education institutions, helping universities diversify and grow their international student cohorts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage top universities to expand their international student enrollment.
• Build multi‑year partnerships by establishing trust with senior university decision‑makers.
• Support the broader APAC team while managing a portfolio of individual accounts.
• Generate leads, conduct face‑to‑face and virtual meetings, and negotiate contracts.
• Provide insights on student mobility trends and strategies to improve student quality and retention.

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven commercial success in the higher‑education sector.
• Strong network of senior contacts within Australian and New Zealand universities.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering long‑term client value.
• Self‑disciplined, results‑driven, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
