Digital Marketing Lead - Paid Acquisition

About the role

A founder-led, design-obsessed global D2C lifestyle brand with stores in Australia, the US, the UK and Europe is hiring a Digital Marketing Lead in Sydney. The role is paid media first: you will own the paid channel end to end across four regions, with Meta and Google as the core engines and multi-million-dollar annual budgets. You will build, optimise and scale campaigns yourself, close to the real commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the paid channel across all four regions, including KPIs, budgets, forecasts and phasing
• Build, optimise and scale campaigns hands-on across Meta and Google, with YouTube and display
• Own CAC and CPA targets so every dollar works harder as the brand scales
• Build GA4 reporting, attribution, A/B testing, and conversion and brand-lift studies
• Manage Google and Meta relationships and stay ahead of changes in campaign tactics
• Treat affiliates as a genuine channel: optimise existing publishers and recruit new ones
• Create a tight feedback loop with the in-house creative team on performance content
• Work alongside CRM on customer acquisition, retention activity and the broader digital mix

Required profile

• Around four or more years of experience in performance or paid media
• Experience running efficient paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and TikTok
• Track record of growing conversion volume while staying within CPA targets
• Confidence building and reading your own GA4 reporting, with a solid grasp of attribution
• Belief that creative drives performance and ability to work well with creative teams
• Agency training is an advantage; product or retail experience is useful but not essential
