Digital Marketing Assistant - FMCG & Consumer Brands

About the role

A growing Australian FMCG business with brands in healthcare, pharmacy, beauty, personal care and consumer products is looking for a creative, commercially minded Digital Marketing Assistant. The role suits someone with hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media and content creation who wants to move to the next step in their career. You will work closely with the marketing and brand team on multiple projects, covering social media, paid advertising, content, SEO, website marketing and brand campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital channels
• Support Meta advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and assist with TikTok content and advertising
• Create engaging graphics, videos and digital content
• Support SEO, keyword research and website optimisation, and update website and digital marketing content
• Assist with product launches, promotions and brand campaigns
• Monitor digital campaigns, analyse performance and use analytics to find ways to improve engagement and results
• Keep up with social media trends, content formats and consumer behaviour
• Support several brands and projects at once, working with internal teams and external stakeholders

Required profile

• Ideal qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Previous hands-on experience in digital marketing or social media
• Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
• Interest in consumer brands, e-commerce, retail or FMCG

Required skills

• Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
• Understanding of TikTok advertising and paid digital campaigns
• Basic understanding of SEO and website optimisation
• Tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or CapCut
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisation and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
