Director of Growth and Performance

About the role

An award-winning digital agency serving clients across Australia and Southeast Asia is hiring a Director of Growth and Performance in Perth. The role leads the strategic vision and performance of the Growth department, overseeing retained digital services such as SEO and PPC, and drives client strategy, AI adoption, team performance and departmental growth. It is a senior leadership position with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Growth department's performance, resources, retained services and financial targets
• Develop holistic digital strategies aligned with client growth and commercial objectives
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies, AI and agent-driven processes across service delivery
• Build strategic client relationships and improve performance, satisfaction, retention and renewals
• Collaborate with creative, technical, data and client service teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Develop performance marketing initiatives that generate leads and strengthen thought leadership
• Lead, mentor and empower Digital Consultants and Marketing Strategists

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing a digital, growth or strategy department
• Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen, with experience achieving departmental KPIs
• Proven success improving client performance, satisfaction, retention and commercial outcomes
• Experience in agency marketing, campaign ROI and thought leadership
• Ability to work across creative, technical and data teams

Required skills

• Digital strategy, growth marketing, SEO and PPC
• Understanding of emerging technology and AI in digital service delivery
• Experience adopting new platforms and evolving outdated services
