DevOps Engineer

About the role

Jacaranda Finance is seeking a curious, capable and hands‑on DevOps Engineer to join its growing Tech Team. Working closely with senior engineers, you will help maintain, improve and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers our digital lending platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance cloud infrastructure, platforms and operational systems, primarily on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
• Assist developers with infrastructure, tooling and deployments.
• Contribute to security, compliance and disaster‑recovery practices.
• Collaborate on architectural improvements and simplify systems to reduce manual work.
• Share knowledge, document solutions and participate in on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and strong Linux fundamentals.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Ability to take ownership while working collaboratively.

• Linux, networking and security basics
• Scripting or programming (any language)
• Containers (Docker) and modern deployment practices
• Kubernetes, Go, PHP/Laravel, observability tools, event‑driven systems, AI‑assisted engineering tools (bonus)
