DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will drive automation across L1, L2 and L3 service delivery workflows, reducing manual effort and improving speed and consistency of managed services. Working closely with analysts, you will design, build, deploy and support scripts, integrations, AI‑assisted automations and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize an automation backlog sourced from team requests and observed high‑frequency tasks.
• Deliver automation solutions using the appropriate technology (PowerShell, Python, Bash, low‑code/iPaaS, AI/LLM).
• Version control all artefacts in Git, ensure peer review and produce clear documentation.
• Iteratively ship usable capabilities, validate them in production, and refine based on feedback.
• Collaborate with the Tools and Automation Lead to align priorities with impact, urgency and dependencies.

Required profile

• Strong technical ability in scripting, integration and workflow analysis.
• Disciplined delivery practice with peer review, documentation and measurable adoption metrics.
• Excellent written communication to enable other engineers to adopt and extend solutions.
• Service‑oriented mindset focused on reducing toil and improving operational efficiency.
