Destination Expert (Africa, South America, North America or Eurasia)

About the role

Adventure World is looking for commercially driven Destination Experts to sell travel experiences in Africa & South America, North America or Eurasia. This is a remote, WA-based role working 9 am to 5 pm AEST, focused on building relationships, designing personalised journeys and converting opportunities into high-value bookings. Success is measured by sales, conversion and revenue results.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales, conversion and revenue targets.
• Build trusted relationships with guests and travel agent partners.
• Design personalised itineraries that inspire travellers and maximise booking value.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell and enhance customer experiences.
• Manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities and follow up proactively to drive conversion.
• Guide customers through their travel decisions using destination expertise.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain expert product and destination knowledge across your specialist region.

Required profile

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for travel and a desire to become a specialist in your chosen region.
• Resilience and drive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• CRM, GDS and Microsoft Office
• Sales and reservation management systems
