Desktop Support (Field Role) - Not-For-Profit

About the role

An established not-for-profit employing 1000+ staff and delivering services to thousands of Australians has created a newly opened Desktop Support (field) role based in Parramatta. You will act as the primary onsite IT contact across several locations in Greater Sydney, providing hands-on Level 2 support while building relationships with users and improving IT service delivery. The role is hybrid, with a company car available for site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Level 2 support for desktop hardware and software, mobile devices, printing, AV/VC, network devices and connectivity.
• Travel to multiple office locations across Greater Sydney to deliver hands-on support and build user relationships.
• Identify recurring issues, find their root cause and implement lasting solutions rather than just closing tickets.
• Investigate recurring incidents and work with internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support hardware and software rollouts, upgrades, new site set-ups, office relocations and IT asset procurement.

Required profile

• Proven Level 2 Desktop Support experience in complex, multi-site environments.
• Full Australian driver's licence and comfort driving to sites (company car available).
• Interest in a purpose-driven not-for-profit.
• Outgoing, friendly and approachable, with good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation and strong organisational skills.
• Unrestricted permanent Australian working rights are required.

Required skills

• Hands-on support and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows OS, desktops, laptops, mobile phones and printers.
• Experience supporting hardware and software rollouts, upgrades or site set-ups.

What we offer

• Salary of $85,000 - $95,000 plus superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.
