Pega Software Engineer

About the role

Transport for NSW is looking for a Pega Software Engineer in Parramatta to develop, maintain and improve Pega applications that support transport services and customers across NSW. The role sits in an agile, cross-functional engineering team that works with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support Pega applications that deliver scalable, maintainable solutions for critical transport services and customer outcomes.
• Build and maintain integrations between Pega, APIs and enterprise systems so they are secure, reliable and performant in production.
• Apply contemporary software engineering practices across development, testing, code review, deployment, troubleshooting and CI/CD, contributing to high-quality releases.
• Monitor and continuously improve Pega solutions, fixing technical issues and improving application performance.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise applications with the Pega Platform, including Pega Infinity '24 or later.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification, or equivalent demonstrated Pega development experience.
• Demonstrated experience across Pega application development, system integration, APIs, testing and troubleshooting in a complex enterprise environment.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience as required by the role.
