About the role

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College is seeking an inspiring, faith‑filled Deputy Principal to join the senior leadership team. This senior role partners with the Principal to shape a thriving Catholic learning community where every girl is known, valued and encouraged to learn with purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Principal in providing strategic leadership across all college areas.
• Lead high‑quality teaching and learning practices to enhance student achievement and wellbeing.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff capability through professional learning opportunities.
• Maintain a classroom teaching presence that models exemplary practice.
• Use data and evidence to inform decision‑making, drive improvement and monitor outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships with students, families, staff and the wider community.
• Lead innovation and change in alignment with the college’s vision and priorities.

Required profile

• Active Catholic committed to the mission and values of Catholic Education.
• Proven leadership experience in teaching and learning, curriculum development and school improvement.
• Ability to build authentic relationships and foster a collaborative culture.
• Strategic thinker with capacity to lead change and promote accountability.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a passion for teacher growth.
• Data‑driven decision‑maker who uses evidence to achieve quality outcomes.
