Processing Trainer

About the role

The Processing Trainer will join the field leadership team at Thunderbox Operations on a FIFO roster (8 days on, 6 days off). Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, the role focuses on delivering and developing both accredited and non‑accredited training programs for the Processing Department.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to align competencies, compliance and procedures with operational needs.
• Maintain and update the training database for all relevant departments, including contractors.
• Review, implement and promote operating procedures, standards and training to meet industry and corporate requirements.
• Ensure personnel compliance with site and corporate training obligations and support the HSEC department as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a processing plant environment.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Current Senior First Aid certification.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using the INX Learning Management System.
• Knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
