Demand Planner

About the role

CSR is seeking an analytical and commercially minded Demand Planner to join the team in North Ryde. The role supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) methodology, drives forecast accuracy and translates demand signals into actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across a 1–24 month horizon.
• Analyse sales trends, market activity and customer demand to identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate demand insights from Sales, Marketing, Major Projects, NPD and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate forecast review meetings and build consensus demand plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Validate demand plans at product family and SKU level, managing exceptions and adjustments.
• Model demand scenarios and support monthly S&OP/IBP planning activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data sets.
• Commercially minded with an understanding of business demand drivers.
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience within an S&OP or IBP environment is highly regarded.
