Delivery Manager

About the role

Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Rockingham Delivery Centre, overseeing a large and diverse team of Postal Delivery Officers. Create a supportive, safe, and engaging environment while delivering reliable, high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily delivery, processing and support activities to meet service, safety and performance objectives.
• Inspire a high‑performing, multi‑shift team and monitor operational performance, turning insights into improvements.
• Manage facility costs, contractor performance and drive efficiency opportunities.
• Strengthen safety culture, compliance and personal accountability across the facility.
• Build productive relationships with employees, contractors, unions and business partners.
• Lead operational change through clear communication, consultation and strong team engagement.
• Support business transformation initiatives aligned with Australia Post's strategic direction.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑site or multi‑shift operations.
• Success leading large frontline workforces in industrial or unionised environments.
• Experience with Lean, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Change Management methodologies.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale operational transformation and sustained performance improvement.
