Data Analyst

About the role

You will turn ChildFund Australia’s supporter and program data into trusted information that teams rely on to raise funds, understand performance and make informed decisions. Working in the Data Insights team, you will deliver recurring reporting, campaign data and own key data quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, validate and monitor recurring reporting and campaign data, including forecasts for next‑year planning.
• Build, maintain and improve Power BI reports and dashboards, handling change requests from teams.
• Own repeatable data‑quality rules and reconciliation processes, investigating exceptions and supporting data cleanup.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, translate them into clear data products and document user guides.

Required profile

• Strong SQL skills, able to write and debug multi‑step transformation queries.
• Experience building Power BI reports with data modelling and DAX.
• Demonstrated accuracy in reconciling figures, validating outputs and tracing discrepancies.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
