Systems Administrator – Customer Onboarding & Transition

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to lead the technical onboarding of new Managed Services customers across Australia. The role blends hands‑on systems administration, infrastructure engineering, and customer engagement, requiring regular travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Travel nationally to assess IT environments, perform technical discovery and deploy/configure monitoring, management and security tools.
• Administer Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, VMware and Hyper‑V platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, backup solutions and disaster‑recovery initiatives while documenting environments and creating network diagrams.
• Collaborate with Transition Managers, Service Desk and security teams to ensure seamless handover to Business‑as‑Usual support.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering or a Managed Services environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across Australia.

• Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs.
• Virtualisation platforms: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Endpoint management and remote monitoring & management (RMM) tools.
