Customer Service Officer

About the role

The Customer Service Officer will support employers and workers by providing clear, consistent information about the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme and maintaining an accurate register. You will handle phone and email enquiries, complete administrative tasks, and contribute to projects and operational priorities in a supportive, team‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails, delivering accurate information about the scheme.
• Maintain and update the Portable Long Service Benefits register.
• Complete a range of administrative duties to support daily operations.
• Assist with projects and operational priorities as directed.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders, customers, and team members.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply regulations, processes, and guidelines.
• Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
