Customer Service Attendant – Hospitality

About the role

Join The Verandah, a community‑focused club in Beecroft, as a Customer Service Attendant. You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering friendly, efficient service and helping create memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a welcoming smile and build rapport.
• Take orders and use in‑house systems to process food and beverage requests.
• Clear and reset tables, keeping service areas clean and tidy.
• Accurately handle cash and credit‑card transactions.
• Maintain food hygiene standards and present items appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patrons and team members throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Full availability across a seven‑day week.
• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Genuine desire to provide excellent guest experiences.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gaming) certifications.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and stay on your feet for extended periods.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale operation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
