Customer Field Technician Trainee I

About the role

nbn is recruiting Customer Field Technician Trainees for its Sydney field service teams, which connect customers to the internet and maintain the national fibre network. The role is a permanent, full-time position with leave entitlements, and the traineeship lasts 12 months while working towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology, paid for by nbn.

Key responsibilities

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet
• Perform inspections and maintenance on the network, diagnose and resolve faults, and provide the best service
• Learn on the job alongside experienced experts, supported by dedicated managers

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia
• An inquisitive mind, eagerness to learn and a positive attitude
• A driver's licence
• A passion for customer service and an appetite for working independently and at pace
