Customer Field Technician I - Albury

About the role

nbn is looking for a Customer Field Technician based in the Albury area. This is a customer-facing, autonomous role covering installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services across potentially all nbn technologies, mostly inside customers' premises. The role is permanent and full-time, with shifts between 7am and 7pm depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Cabling installation (copper and fibre), including jointing, jumpering and splicing
• Installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
• Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and CPE
• Delivering exceptional customer service in a customer-facing role

Required profile

• Experienced candidates or those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background
• Current and clean driver's licence
• Exceptional customer service skills, honesty and integrity, and the ability to be self-managed and motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full working rights in Australia
• Preferred: successful criminal history check and pre-employment medical assessment
