Customer Enablement Architect – Capability Engineering & AI Adoption

About the role

The Customer Enablement Architect will design and lead enablement and talent‑transformation programs for Databricks customers across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner with sales, engineering and training teams to understand needs, recommend learning solutions and ensure successful execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop regional enablement strategies aligned to customer segments, business priorities and technical maturity.
• Translate outcomes into learning plans, capability roadmaps and recommendations across free/paid, instructor‑led and self‑paced training.
• Coordinate scheduling, communications and program quality with global Delivery and Operations teams.
• Report performance metrics (bookings, revenue, learners, credentials, adoption) and use insights to drive field actions.
• Act as the voice of the customer for curriculum and certification priorities, engaging senior leaders internally and externally.

Required profile

• 5+ years in customer enablement, talent transformation, training, consulting or customer success.
• Hands‑on builder mindset with a track record of designing and deploying prototypes or automation tools.
• Experience creating and leading enablement programs in partnership with sales and technical teams.
• Strong executive engagement, stakeholder management and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel across ANZ markets.

Required skills

• Lakehouse architecture, data engineering, ETL, data governance and data quality.
• Generative AI, agentic workflows, Databricks Apps, Genie and Lakeflow.
• Understanding of big data, AI, data science and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Databricks curriculum, certifications and foundational onboarding.
