Customer Assist Specialist - Care

About the role

The Customer Care team supports vulnerable customers facing financial and personal hardship. Working 8:00 AM‑6:00 PM Monday‑Friday on a rotating roster, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, offering empathy, flexible payment options and access to support programmes.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in a customer‑facing or contact‑centre environment.
• Strong empathy and the ability to connect with individuals experiencing hardship.
• Emotional resilience to manage difficult, emotionally‑charged conversations.
• Balanced objection handling, able to say “no” when necessary while remaining supportive.
• Excellent phone communication skills with a warm, reassuring manner.
• High attention to detail and a compliance mindset to follow regulatory guidelines.
