Credit Analyst – Australian Mortgage (1+ years experience)

About the role

We are seeking a Credit Analyst with at least one year of experience to analyse and validate complex income structures for Australian mortgage applicants. The role involves developing loan submissions, performing policy analysis, and collaborating with brokers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and validate complex income structures across PAYG, self‑employed, and business‑owner applicants.
• Develop high‑quality loan submissions, including credit proposals, income assessments, loan summaries, and retirement exit strategies.
• Perform detailed lender policy and scenario analysis to identify suitable lending options.
• Review and validate living expenses using HEM benchmarks, bank statements, and supporting financial information.
• Interpret broker notes and application information to create clear lending strategies.
• Ensure CRM data is accurate, complete, and consistent with supporting documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and overall financial position.
• Manage application documentation, including file organisation, verification, sensitive‑data redaction, and submission readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of experience as a Credit Analyst in mortgage lending.
• Proven ability to analyse income structures for PAYG, self‑employed and business‑owner applicants.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for data management.
• Strong financial analysis skills covering assets, liabilities, income and expenses.
