About the role
This position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters within a highly regarded boutique commercial law firm in Sydney CBD. You will advise on private and public M&A, capital raisings and corporate governance while enjoying direct exposure to senior partners.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on M&A transactions, capital raisings and corporate governance matters.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents and provide practical commercial advice.
- Work closely with clients throughout transactions and ongoing corporate matters.
- Take meaningful ownership of matters while collaborating with experienced partners.
Required profile
- Approximately 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience with a current Australian practising certificate.
- Strong corporate law experience, ideally covering at least two of M&A, capital raisings and corporate governance.
- Commercially minded, collaborative and comfortable in a fast‑moving, high‑expectation environment.
Required skills
- Strong drafting skills for transaction documents.
- Analytical abilities to provide commercial and legal advice.
