Corporate Legal Counsel – Treasury, M&A & Corporate Structuring

About the role

Join the Corporate Legal team of a leading global technology organisation as a Corporate Legal Counsel. You will work on sophisticated corporate matters, including treasury, financing, M&A, corporate structuring and governance, partnering directly with senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on treasury and financing transactions, such as debt facilities and other funding arrangements.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestments and conduct due‑diligence processes.
• Provide counsel on corporate structuring, governance and intercompany arrangements.
• Assist tax and finance teams on corporate legal matters.
• Negotiate and draft complex corporate and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic projects.
• Manage external legal advisers where appropriate.

Required profile

• Admission as an Australian solicitor.
• Approximately 4+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate, M&A, banking & finance or broader corporate advisory work.
• Strong drafting and transaction management abilities.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
