Corporate Affairs Lead

About the role

Sanofi Australia & New Zealand is looking for a Corporate Affairs Lead, a senior position based in Barangaroo. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, the Lead oversees all disciplines including government relations, policy development, stakeholder management, patient group engagement, media relations, market readiness and launch campaigning, issues management and the leadership voice for the ANZ organisation. The role provides counsel to executive leaders and helps shape corporate policy and insights programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver government, policy, media, social and GM communication activities for specified Business Units and/or therapeutic areas
• Craft strategies and activities for each discipline with clear objectives and KPIs, and ensure product market readiness and launch campaigns meet high standards
• Lead policy development and advocacy, contributing to One Sanofi policy positions
• Lead and oversee government, industry, patient group, hospital and community relationships, following Sanofi policies and procedures
• Protect reputation by supporting leaders' judgement in business decisions and stakeholder engagement
• Manage issues and lead crisis management support
• Manage external agency partners involved in corporate affairs activities
• Develop and report key impact measures

Required profile

• 10+ years in senior Corporate Communications, Public Affairs or Corporate Affairs roles in large organisations
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, politics or similar
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

Required skills

• Managing complex stakeholder relationships
• Providing Corporate Affairs counsel to senior leaders on matters of potential public interest
• Desirable: healthcare industry Corporate Affairs experience and issues management of complex corporate issues
