About the role

A respected firm in Perth is looking for an experienced Insurance Broker to lead a high-performing insurance broking team. The role combines business growth through new business development and client retention with mentoring a team of Account Executives, Assistant Account Executives and Insurance Broking Interns. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth through new business development and client retention strategies in designated accounts.
• Motivate and mentor a team of Account Executives, Assistant Account Executives and Insurance Broking Interns.
• Focus on key performance indicators such as business retention, complaints handling and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Solid technical expertise in insurance products, legislation, claims, broking technology, dispute resolution and compliance.
• Proven track record in insurance broking, ideally with 10 years of experience.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and guide a team.
• Diploma in Financial Services and Tier 1 qualification (mandatory).
• Tertiary business qualifications highly regarded.
• Full Australian work rights are required.
