Contracts Administrator

About the role

The Contracts Administrator will support the commercial management of key subcontract and supplier arrangements for KBR's ACS CLCM Maritime Sustainment Program in Sydney. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will ensure subcontract compliance, manage commercial risks and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full range of procurement, commercial and administration activities for subcontracting work in line with head contract requirements.
• Qualify suppliers, issue RFPs, evaluate proposals and maintain subcontract files.
• Draft and maintain the Subcontractor Management Plan and provide financial information on subcontract spend and performance.
• Support contract negotiations, risk management and compliance with export controls and ITAR.
• Coordinate with project, operations, finance and project controls teams and support contract performance reviews.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Legal, Finance, Contract Administration or similar.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in Defence and Commonwealth contracting.
• Experience with ASDEFCON contracts, end‑to‑end procurement and subcontract administration.
• Understanding of export controls and ITAR compliance.
• Active Baseline Defence Security Clearance (or higher).

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for procurement and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFQ preparation and subcontract execution.
