About the role

A consultant paediatrician is sought for locum blocks at a 40-bed hospital in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, about 1,526 km north of Perth. The hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, day surgery and 24/7 emergency services. The position is advertised by Skilled Medical, an international medical recruitment firm.

Key details

Pay: $3,250 per day.
Location: Pilbara, Western Australia.
Block dates: 14 Dec 2026 to 18 Dec 2026; 27 Jan 2027 to 5 Feb 2027; 15 Feb 2027 to 21 Feb 2027; 19 Apr 2027 to 26 Apr 2027.
Working hours: 08:00 Monday to 08:00 Friday for each block.

Required profile

Registered with AHPRA.
Right to work in Australia.
