Consultant, Integrated Transport and Mobility

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant in Integrated Transport and Mobility to join our Transport team in Brisbane. The role involves delivering traffic and transport solutions for road, active‑transport and precinct projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, analyse and produce concept designs for transport solutions across a range of projects.
• Lead feasibility studies, transport planning strategies and traffic impact assessments.
• Provide expert advice to transport agencies and private developers, including workshop facilitation and presentations.
• Coordinate traffic and transport inputs with road design, civil, planning and digital teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical and consulting development.
• Contribute to business development, bids and the creation of new digital tools and automation for transport engineering.

Required profile

• Degree in civil or transport engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in traffic engineering and transport planning on Australian or New Zealand projects.
• Strong knowledge of Austroads and relevant state government standards.
• Proven experience delivering client‑facing transport inputs on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or a clear pathway towards it.
