Construction Worker - CW2 (Drainage, Concrete, Pipe Laying)

About the role

ACCIONA is recruiting a Construction Worker (CW2) to join a civil crew on a long-term Defence project in Adelaide. The project is enabling works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) at the Osborne Naval Shipyard in South Australia, supporting the future Submarine Construction Yard. The works cover drainage, excavation, pavements and concrete.

Key responsibilities

• Complete fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) works on site
• Do basic concrete work as directed by the supervisor
• Lay drainage pipes according to the project plans
• Work on pavements with the civil crew
• Spot plant (machinery) and keep people safe around it

Required profile

• Australian citizen eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance (defence requirement)
• Hands-on experience in FRP, concrete, pipe laying or pavements
• Ability to work independently and follow supervisor instructions
• Plant spotting experience is also valued
