Senior Project Coordinator - $85M Construction Project

About the role

ROUSSOS Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Project Coordinator for a national Tier 2 contractor with an established presence in the South Australian market. The contractor delivers complex projects across commercial, recreational, multi-residential, aged care, health and education sectors, and has a strong pipeline of work. The role centres on a major $85M project, with a clear pathway into Project Management, increasing ownership and leadership responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery across all stages of construction
• Manage communication between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
• Oversee procurement, contract administration and subcontractor engagement
• Monitor project programmes, budgets and cost reporting
• Maintain quality assurance, compliance and safety standards
• Identify and resolve project issues to keep delivery on track
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as you move toward Project Management

Required profile

• Experienced construction professional with experience supporting projects valued at $10M or more
• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
• Experience as a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator on commercial construction projects
• Sound understanding of the full construction lifecycle
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail
• Ambition to progress into Project Management
