Construction Superintendent – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will lead all civil and mechanical construction activities for renewable energy projects across remote Australia. This hands‑on site leadership position ensures safe, efficient delivery from mobilisation through handover to commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑based construction activities, coordinating labour hire, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Supervise trenching, excavation, earthworks, pile driving, foundation and Surefoot installations.
• Oversee solar racking, structural steel assembly, solar module installation and cable pulling.
• Manage lifting operations with cranes, telehandlers and forklifts, and control material deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintain quality assurance, monitor schedules, conduct inspections and prepare projects for electrical fit‑off and commissioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction crews on site, especially in remote environments.
• Strong people‑management skills and ability to coordinate multiple work fronts.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel across remote locations.
