Construction Labourer & Scaffold Labourer (Casual)

About the role

Buildsafe is hiring experienced construction labourers and scaffolders for residential projects across South East Queensland. Selected candidates will join the 12‑week First Lift Program, a hands‑on pathway that blends technical training with personal development, leading to ongoing casual work on multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and secure equipment.
• Install and dismantle scaffolding and related safety systems.
• Perform tasks on residential building sites.
• Complete basic reports and safety checks.

Required profile

• Previous scaffolding or construction experience, or experience in a blue‑collar environment.
• Valid White Card certification.
• Driver’s licence and own transport.
• Availability for Monday‑Friday work, averaging 40‑50 hours per week.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast‑paced residential construction environment.
