Construction Labourer – Bridge Projects (NSW)

About the role

Saunders Civilbuild is seeking experienced Construction Labourers to join our NSW team on a full‑time basis. You will work on bridge construction and maintenance projects across the Hunter Region, with standard hours of 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, repair and maintenance of bridges and related civil structures.
• Perform manual, physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Operate and transport tools and materials as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience labouring in civil construction.
• C class driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
• Work Safely at Heights certification (RIIWHS202E) – preferred.
• Good physical fitness and ability to undertake intensive manual work.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to work unsupervised.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Required skills

• White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Work Safely at Heights certification (RIIWHS202E).
• C class driver’s licence.
