Community Registered Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide community‑based clinical care to our members in their homes. The role combines home visits with flexible work‑from‑home days, allowing you to focus on person‑centred support while minimizing commuting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight, conduct home visits and risk assessments for members with care needs.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, specialists and helpers to ensure consistent, person‑centred support.
• Refer members to allied health professionals and external providers and coordinate services.
• Review and contribute to care plans, supporting helpers with clear guidance.
• Partner with the Community Nursing Team Leader to develop and implement service improvements.
• Support compliance with legislation, accreditation and quality frameworks, and assist with complaint and incident management.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA‑registered RN with a valid driver’s licence and National Police Check.
• Comfortable driving to members’ homes and spending time on the road.
• Experience in community, aged or primary care nursing (highly regarded).
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
