Community Lead, Sydney

About the role

As a Community Lead at WeWork in Sydney, you will be the heart of the building’s community, ensuring hospitality excellence and operational standards. You will drive member satisfaction, support business performance, and foster a vibrant professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver elevated hospitality by anticipating member and guest needs throughout the member journey.
• Act as primary point of resolution for member feedback, using NPS data to identify trends and implement service improvements.
• Support the Community Team in executing curated community events that boost networking and retention.
• Manage the on‑site Community desk schedule to ensure consistent coverage during business hours.
• Own building operational excellence, overseeing service requests, move‑in/out processes, maintenance work orders, and safety protocols.
• Partner with Security to maintain compliance with global health and safety standards.
• Control operating costs while delivering a premium member experience.
• Collaborate with Leasing to lead tours, capture new revenue, and drive occupancy.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities such as ancillary service sales and membership upgrades.
• Use data‑informed analytics to pinpoint renewal and expansion possibilities with members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in hospitality, multi‑unit retail, or related fields.
• Proactive problem‑solver with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using data (e.g., Qualtrics, CRM tools) to drive decision‑making and member satisfaction.
