Community Engagement Officer

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Community Engagement Officer to help shape a new coastal residential community and its adjoining golf club in Queensland. This on‑site position offers flexibility to work from home when appropriate and provides the chance to build lasting relationships with residents, visitors and local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and create engaging community events.
• Collaborate with marketing to showcase community life to prospective buyers.
• Develop and manage social media strategies and content.
• Liaise with Council, tourism bodies and Golf Australia to secure sponsorships and partnerships.
• Support golf club management with events, commercial outcomes and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Marketing or advertising background with strong social media experience.
• Proven event‑management capability.
• Personable, energetic and able to connect with people of all ages.
• Excellent communicator across print, email and digital channels.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet short‑ and long‑term KPIs.
