Community Engagement Manager

About the role

As a Community Engagement Manager at Aveo, you will be the public face of our retirement communities across Sydney, especially the Northern Beaches. You will build genuine relationships with local groups, businesses and organisations to raise awareness of Aveo’s senior living options and generate quality sales leads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture a network of community organisations, businesses and groups that align with our senior‑Australian target market.
• Generate authentic sales leads through relationship‑building, resident referrals and community outreach activities.
• Plan, organise and deliver low‑cost, high‑impact events such as seminars, workshops and pop‑up activities both within villages and in the wider community.
• Communicate the full Aveo story, highlighting our care services and unique value proposition in retirement living.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure events align with lead‑generation goals and overall sales strategy.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date event calendar and track all activity and leads in the CRM, providing regular reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community engagement, business development, sales, events or relationship‑management roles.
• Self‑starter with the confidence to work independently and manage multiple opportunities from day one.
• High energy, initiative and creativity to identify new ways of engaging prospective residents and community groups.
• Polished, professional and warm communication style with strong presentation abilities.
• Genuine interest in the retirement‑living sector and the communities we serve.
• Valid driver’s licence.
