Communications & Marketing Specialist

About the role

Helia is seeking a Communications & Marketing Specialist to join its Strategy & Product team in North Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing, you will help strengthen the brand, reputation and stakeholder relationships across internal and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate internal communications including business updates, leadership messages and intranet content.
• Support external corporate communications, media materials, briefings and key messaging.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives, product launches and create value propositions, messaging and collateral.
• Create and manage brand‑aligned content across digital, social and website channels, ensuring SEO optimisation.
• Plan, schedule and publish social media content, maintain the content calendar and report on performance.
• Assist with customer and industry events, manage the events calendar and handle post‑event learnings.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a B2B or B2B2C environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Proven ability to translate product features and customer needs into clear messaging and marketing collateral.

Required skills

• Strong writing and content development for digital, social and communications channels.
• Project coordination and stakeholder management across multiple priorities.
• Experience with digital marketing, website maintenance and social media management.
• Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
