Communications & Engagement Senior Advisor

About the role

Join Water Corporation’s Treatment & Resource Recovery Business Unit as a Communications & Engagement Senior Advisor. This 12‑month fixed‑term role, based in the Osborne Park metro office, offers the chance to work across water, wastewater and catchment management while engaging with the community and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication and community engagement strategies for operational functions.
• Produce communication materials, coordinate events and manage issue/incident communications.
• Visit operational sites to gain hands‑on understanding and deliver positive outcomes for the community.
• Collaborate with a small immediate team and a broader operational team to share knowledge and deliver proactive communications.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification with considerable experience in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in community engagement, stakeholder and issues management, including customer relationship management.

Required skills

• Developing and implementing communication strategies.
• Production of communications materials.
• Coordinating events.
